Construction Timeline and Area Closure
Friday, February 23, 2024 through August 2024
Kearney Catholic High School Activities Complex:
We are excited to announce the start of construction beginning Friday, February 23, 2024. The pedestrian walkway between KCHS and St. James Church and the southernmost parking stalls will be closed to ensure the safety of our community and the efficiency of the construction process.
Faith Formation and KCHS School Drop-off and Pick-up Instructions: During this period, we encourage school drop-off and pick-up to occur in front of the school. This will facilitate a smoother flow of traffic and ensure the safety of our students and families.
Sidewalk Along A Avenue: We understand the importance of maintaining safe pedestrian travel between the school and St. James Catholic Church. The sidewalk along A Avenue will remain open throughout the construction period. This will allow for safe pedestrian access to the school, the church and the parking lot.
Safety Precautions: Your safety is our top priority. We kindly ask that you use caution when navigating the area and strictly avoid entering the construction site. Adhering to these guidelines will help ensure your safety and the safety of others.
Appreciation for Your Patience: We understand that construction projects can cause temporary inconveniences, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. We are confident that the new KCHS Activities Complex will be a fantastic addition to our community, enhancing our activities and gatherings for many years to come.

complace anunciar el inicio de la construcción a partir del viernes 23 de febrero de 2024. El camino peatonal entre KCHS y la iglesia St. James y los estacionamientos más al sur estarán cerrados para garantizar la seguridad de nuestra comunidad y la eficiencia del proceso constructivo.
Instrucciones para Formación de fe y para dejar y recoger a los estudiantes en la escuela de KCHS: Durante este período, recomendamos que la entrega y recogida de los estudiantes se realice frente a la escuela. Esto facilitará un flujo de tráfico más fluido y garantizará la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes y familias.
Banqueta a lo largo de avenida A: entendemos la importancia de mantener un tránsito peatonal seguro entre la escuela y la iglesia católica St. James. La banqueta a lo largo de la Avenida A permanecerá abierta durante todo el período de construcción. Esto permitirá un acceso peatonal seguro a la escuela, la iglesia y el estacionamiento.
