le has no exceptions, and this is true for everyone. Therefore, every institution has the responsibility to enhance human life and dignity. This is the foundation of all Catholic Social Teaching.

Dios nos ha creado a Su Imagen, con una dignidad especial, por encima de todo lo demás que Él creó. Este principio no tiene excepciones, y aplica a todos. Por lo tanto, todas las instituciones tienen la responsabilidad de mejorar la vida humana y su dignidad. Esta es la base de toda la Doctrina Social de la Iglesia Católica.

God made us social. As humans, our development and growth are highly affected by the way we are organized as society. Family and marriage are the central institutions of our society and need to be strengthened to
help individuals thrive. In a similar way, we must participate in the decisions that help our community, to pursue the common good and well-being of all.

Since the beginning of Christianity, the Catholic tradition has taught that the protection of human rights and the fulfillment of responsibilities positively impact the community's health an
d the dignity of the person. Therefore, Catholic Social Teaching encourages human rights to life and to have all we need to live with human dignity. Accordingly, we must also meet our responsibilities to our families and communities.
Derechos y Responsabilidades
Desde el principio del Cristianismo, la tradición Católica ha enseñado que la protección de los derechos humanos y el cumplimiento de las responsabilidades impacta positivamente la salud de la comunidad y la dignidad de las personas. Por lo tanto, la Doctrina Social Católica promueve los derechos humanos de la vida y de tener todo lo que necesitamos para vivir con dignidad humana. Del mismo modo, debemos cumplir nuestras responsabilidades hacia nuestras familias y hacia nuestra comunidad.

nerable first. This basic moral principle is the measure of how our society is doing if these persons can thrive and grow.

The Dignity of Work and the Rights of Workers
The economy has been part of society since the beginning of time, but it’s meant to be a mean to make resources available to people. When things turn around and people are assets for the growth of the economy we are not living according to God’s plan. Workers' rights to productive work, fair wages, and private property enhance the continuation of God’s creation that is achieved through work.
La Dignidad del Trabajo y los Derechos de los Trabajadores
La economía ha sido parte de la sociedad desde el principio del tiempo, pero debe ser un medio para que los recursos estén disponibles para las personas. Cuando las situación se invierte y las personas son bienes para el crecimiento de la economía no estamos viviendo conforme al plan de Dios. Los derechos de los trabajadores a un trabajo productivo, salarios justos y propiedad privada potencian la continuación de la creación de Dios que se consigue a través del trabajo.
Solidarity
Regardless of the origin of a person, everybody has the dignity of a human being. This principle is universal and is not affected by borders, culture, or race. Therefore, we must see on each other as brothers and sisters whom we must care for. In a world where countries are closer than ever and borders fade, we must work for peace and justice for everyone, no matter where we may come from.
Solidaridad
Sin importar el origen de una persona, todos tenemos la dignidad de ser humanos. Este principio es universal y no se ve afectado por fronteras, cultura o raza. Por lo tanto, debemos vernos unos a otros como hermanos que debemos cuidarnos. En un mundo donde los países están más cerca que nunca antes y las fronteras se desvanecen, debemos trabajar por paz y justicia para todos, sin importar de donde vengamos.
Care for God's Creation
We show we respect God’s work when we care for His creation, and we are responsible stewards of it. We were entrusted with this wonderful planet. Beyond slogans and ideologies, we must truly care and
make reasonable use of the resources God provides, as well as leave a healthy place for the next generations.
Cuidado de la Creación de Dios
Mostramos respeto por el trabajo de Dios cuando cuidamos Su Creación y somos administradores responsables de la misma. Se nos ha confiado un planeta hermoso. Más allá de dichos y de ideologías, debemos verdaderamente cuidar y hacer uso razonable de los recursos que Dios nos proporcioana, así como dejar un planeta saludable para las generaciones venideras.
