Religious Life

Do you feel God calling you to religious life? Those who receive the sacrament of Holy Orders - as a deacon, priest or bishop - are consecrated in Christ's name "to feed the Church by the word and grace of God."

Catholics are praying for those who may be called to serve Him through their vocation. For more information about vocations to the priesthood and diaconate visit the U.S. Council of Catholic Bishops’ website on Vocations.

Father Joe Hannappel, Father Art Faesser or Sister Cathy are available to talk to you about your vocation.

Mission Statement

St. James parish is established to be a sign of the presence of the Kingdom of God, to spread the Good News of the Gospel and to minister and serve others. As Catholics we believe in Jesus' dying and rising and in our call to celebrate the Sacraments and proclaim the Gospel.
