Children’s Liturgy of the Word

Children’s Liturgy has a trained leader escort the children, after the Opening Prayer, out of the sanctuary to another room where they hear the readings in words they can more easily understand. Children’s Liturgy of the Word follows the Mass with the same readings. Prayer intentions also take place before the children are brought back to the congregation at the time of the offerings.
