Capital Campaign

Come, Live in the Light

St. James is in the midst of a Capital Campaign called “Come, Live in the Light: Gather, Give Glorify,” with a goal to fund Phase One of our major Facilities Improvement project. Begun in October 2014 with leadership by dozens from St. James, the project team was comprised of committees: Prayer, Events, Thanks, Youth, Ambassadors and Communication, led by the Steering Committee.

“Come, Live in the Light” was selected as a theme because a major goal of the renovation plan is to brighten the worship and gathering space with windows for natural light, and improved and fresh interior light and décor to make our gathering and worship a more inviting and enriching experience. The theme also uses lyrics from a hymn by David Haas that provided the backdrop for our campaign videos and other materials

While the Facility Improvement project is complete, paying for the improvements is ongoing. Thus, the campaign is ongoing. Pledges and donations are still needed.  Contact the church office or visit with Father Hannappel to learn more.
