Quid Agis - What's Happening

published: Wednesday, June 6, 2018
It doesn’t seem possible, yet at the end of June I will have been with St. James for 2 years. The time has flown by. During that time there has been a very successful “Uniting in the Light” capital campaign. New participants are always welcome. The Stations of the Cross have been finished and hung. There have been various other additions to the church which are not related to the capital campaign. Many thanks to those who have donated their time, talent and...  continue reading

Quid Agis - What's Happening

After a bit of an absence, I am again ready to update. We have passed a very blessed Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday. We are in the midst of the after Easter season to culminate with ascension Thursday on May 10 followed by Pentecost on May 13 which also happens to be Mother’s Day. In addition to Mother’s Day, the 13th will be high school graduation at Kearney Catholic. Following Pentecost, we will enter into Ordinary Time.  As has been forwarded to you, the Uniting in the...  continue reading

Quid Agis - What's Happening

published: Thursday, February 1, 2018
February 1 ushers in a very busy month at St. James. Ash Wednesday is February 14 which also happens to be Valentine’s Day. See the bulletin or the website for times. Also note the fish fry every Friday, except for Good Friday, at the Old Town Hall by the Knights of...  continue reading

SCRIP Gift Card Program

To stream-line the sales process, the SCRIP program will be changing in January 2018.

• Rather than selling gift cards in the gathering space after Mass, SCRIP will now be available to purchase by completing a paper order form and placing it (along with your payment) in the collection plate during Mass or by taking it to the church office.
• Orders will be due by the 15th of each month, and gift cards will be available to pick up from the church office on or after the 22nd of each month.
• Blank order forms can be picked up in the Gathering Space, on a table outside the office.

You can use SCRIP gift cards for gift giving or for your usual day-to-day expenses such as groceries or gas. Each time you purchase SCRIP gift cards, a percentage of your purchase goes directly to St. James. Thank you for your support!!!

Mission Statement
