Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (DCCW) Meeting

 For all Catholic women. The Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (DCCW) for the Grand Island Diocese are making plans for the Kearney Deanery meeting to be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Center in Ravenna on Saturday, March 30th. Registration will begin at 9:00-9:30 a.m. with a break-fast brunch. Sister Margaret Nacke, CSJ Ed.D. will be our guest speaker. Her topic is "Trafficking--It's in Nebraska". Prince of Peace Parish Lenten Mission

Prince of Peace will be having a Parish Lenten Mission on Monday-Wednesday, March 18-20 from 7:00 -8:30pm each evening. Father James DiLuzio, a Paulist priest from New York will be offering his dramatic proclamation of the Gospel of Luke entitled Luke Live. Refreshments will be offered and child-care will be available. Fr. James will also be preaching at all Masses on March 16-17. The Central Nebraska Respect Life Conference will take place on Saturday, April 6, at the Younes Convention Center in Kearney, NE.  Registration starts at 9:30 am and the conference will end at 2:00 pm. Cost for Adults is $20 and includes lunch; high school and college age students are free. The theme for the conference is “Unlocking the Truth about Contraception and Women’s Health” and is age appropriate for juniors in high school and older. Seating is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Deadline for registration is April 2, 2019.
