Everyone is Invited to Celebrate Deb Kratochvil’s Retirement: Come on Saturday, June 1st for a potluck supper after the 5:00 p.m. Mass; meat will be provided. On Sunday, June 2nd there will be coffee & rolls following 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Masses. Homebound Ministry

Homebound Ministers of Communion, at St. James Parish, have faithfully brought communion, following the 8:30 a.m. Mass to parishioners who are ill in their homes and nursing homes. Beginning Sunday, May 26th, we will ritualize this ministry with a blessing and dismissal at the 8:30 a.m. Mass. It is most fitting that these Ministers are sent forth from the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Interfaith Memorial Service

An Interfaith Memorial Service honoring infants who have died during pregnancy will be Sunday, June 2nd at 3:00 p.m. The Service will be held near Babyland on the East side of the Kearney Cemetery at the Good Samaritan Hospital Memorial site. CHI Health Good Samaritan with be remembering all of God’s children regardless of their span of life in days, weeks or months.

Eucharist Ministers Training

Eucharist Ministers Training: Ron & Margaret Messbarger will be having a training class on Sunday, May 19th between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Masses. And again on Monday, May 20th at 7:00 p.m. If you would like to be trained or would like a refresher class, we will begin in the Sacristy.
